We’re a husband-and-wife photography team who have spent most of our lives in West Michigan, soaking up sunshine on the beaches of the Big Lake and making some of our best memories in the places we grew up. Over the past few years, we’ve also fallen in love with exploring the world together. Our adventures have taken us to some pretty incredible places - floating on the Dead Sea in Israel, wandering through the halls of La Sagrada Familia in Spain, sipping mojitos in Mexico, biking along the coast of the French Riviera, and playing music in the cathedrals of Italy.
These adventures have shaped the way we see the world; We’re drawn to the fleeting moments that make life beautiful. Photography lets us hold onto them forever, and that’s why we love what we do.
When it comes to capturing love stories, our style is all about noticing. It’s about catching the way your partner looks at you on your wedding day when they think no one’s watching, the way your hands find each other in the middle of the chaos, or the quiet breath you take before stepping into forever, surrounded by the people you love most. We're looking for the proud tears in your mom’s eye, your best friend’s uncontrollable laughter during a toast, the hug from a grandparent that you may not have seen for years. We look for the moments that might otherwise slip by - the ones that tell your story in a way that feels real and honest. We want you to be free to experience your day as it unfolds, trusting us to find the beauty in the authentic and genuine moments that unfold organically - so that when you look back, you don’t just see your wedding day, you feel it all over again.

Best Friends in Life & Behind the Lens
we met in 2015, when we were barely teenagers, and had a long-distance friendship that has turned into so much more over the course of the past eight years. we got married in 2021, and we mean it when we say that marriage is truly the best thing in the world. we’re so thrilled to be creating together and so grateful to be building our business around something we love to do as a team!

WORKING WITH US
we're the kind of people who park at the back of the parking lot when it's raining so we can jump in puddles on the way inside. we have private dance parties to ABBA in the kitchen when we're supposed to be doing the dishes and we’re always up for an impromptu road trip, especially if it means stopping for tacos along the way!

Our approach is simple: we mix candid, in-the-moment shots with prompts and direction as needed to create images that feel real, natural, and true to the day. When you look back through your photos, we want you to be transported back in time to relive your happiest memories over and over again.

DURING YOUR SESSION
let's have FUN! The best photos happen when you’re comfortable, so our goal is to help you feel confident and at ease. Before long, you'll be thinking, "Wow, this is so much easier than I expected." Bonus points if you're down to do whatever it takes to get "the shot" :) Most of all, we hope you'll think of us as your friends by the time we say goodbye.
